In the “Janapar” film, cycler Tom, who left the girl he’s in love with in order to hit the road and cycle the world, some kilometres later says that he made a decision, he gives up the tour, and returns to Yerevan.

I wonder can we call it a decision? When people feel pain, not only physical, they tend to make something to avoid feeling pain. If someone wants to get back with the person he loves, or to rephrase, wants to get rid of pain caused by him not being in the contact with her, is it a decision? Or is it a logical, expected consequence of feeling the pain?
