This article is about people who left Russia because of recent developments, i. e. worsening of situation with rights, freedom, education, and everything, who have abandoned a hope that if they stay they can live in a normal civilized country. Text is in #Russian language.
When you come to Israel, you feel warmth of incredible strength. I never felt that before. People around support you, help you. First two months, when I was walking the streets, those who found out that I have made aliyah, were saying the same phrase: “Welcome home!”. That was so touchy I wanted to cry. Those were people who didn’t know you. Taxi drivers. Sellers. Whoever. They are just happy to welcome you.
I like how Israeli medicine is designed. We make an appointment on the Internet. We arrive - no queues. There is a piece of paper at the door of the doctor with your name and the time at which the office door will open just for you. Almost everything is free, we only pay some coins for special procedures. There are two kinds of pharmacy stores in Israel - regular pharmacies, and pharmacies that attached to hospital cashier desks. When you have a prescription, it does not make sense to go to the regular pharmacy, because if you go to the one served by the hospital then significant part of the cost is paid by the state.
I wish Armenia could welcome repatriates like that.
