Now regarding the ideas, well it doesn’t take much to come up with worthwhile ideas, merely a step back from the expected views and prejudices and a keen eye to assess the situation. An honest view of one’s surroundings. The bigger net you cast with your eyes the context of the problems becomes more grand and the problems themselves become more fundamental. And there are such jaw-droppingly grand-scale problems (e.g. patriarchy). However, there are some localized problems that seem more absurd than the larger problems. This absurdity stems from the fact that these problems have oft been resolved in other locales and the solutions that were employed are readily available to the masses that are facing the same problems (the internet). It’s sad to see that those ideas are not employed or adapted. Instead, the area of the problem is left to die, mass immigrations occur from Armenia as people are afraid to act on the ideas that would solve the tiny problems of their surroundings (the Istanbul convention is still not ratified, domestic violence is still a “family” problem that should be talked inside the “family” and god forbid someone speaks publicly or even with their friends). More so, it is sad that people here don’t see that they are given the chance to solve these problems by not only employing solutions from outside but by amending those solutions in novel ways that are only applicable in these locales. But the only part that makes me feel not sadness and not compassion but instead anger (probably caused by fear) is the fact that masses threaten to suppress and downright kill the people who try to help …………..
