we say, that the robots are those machines, who can make decisions by themselves. shell the drone shoot the tank or the bus? shell this toy bot turn left or right in order to get out from the maze?

humans are creatures that also can make decisions, in spite of their benefits. in spite of their predilections. i think it’s very important, and distinguishes humans from other animals. it might be politics, it might be romance. it might be friendship. it might be about someone we do not know and care. it might be about building technology.

we can be driven by benefits, feelings, profits, propensities.

however there are more important things, than those. thus we can think and make decisions, not based on benefits but values. behave somehow even by knowing that we loose, not by knowing that we gain.

may be those are about dignity and self respect.
