so we had a car accident, but now we are okay, and reached Tbilisi. This is how it was:

Me, @{Մուլտիվակ Multivac* ; satenik@spyurk.am} , @{imandes (իմանդէս) ; imandes@spyurk.am} and @{EminO ; emin__o@spyurk.am} were going to Tbilisi to participate a workshop. As you may have noticed from our photos, I am used to go to Tbilisi with my car. I am not an experienced driver, I drive only 1.5 years. So we’ve reached Sevan, then Vanadzor, and stopped to have a lunch and talk in Izagri tavern. Spas, and omelet with tomatoes. Then we moved further. Starting from Vanadzor there are a lot of trucks on the road, and they move slowly. Obviously, we usually outrun them. That’s not an easy task on a narrow and winding roads, and there are corresponding road mark-up, like persistent lines. But when we reach straight road, and have field of view, we go faster and pass the truck. But not this time, it was here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=40.9937&mlon=44.6548#map=16/40.9937/44.6548

We started moving faster immediately, as we saw the straight road and that it’s free. This truck didn’t allow us to do that, he went left. I have no idea why. So I had to go left, and there was a bad road - ground and sand. I felt that I loose control there, the car slides, and pressed brakes. May be that was my mistake. Then the car turned in other direction - towards the truck, and hit the truck’s big wheel. We saw flying particles of the car’s front, and then the car turned on the right side. I have stopped the motor immediately after. We were silent all the time. There was music transmitted from the n900, and we only could hear it.

We were looking at each other, talking. Music was playing. Some people stopped by and helped me to get out. n900 was in my pocket. We didn’t turn radio off, and it was still playing. Multivac jumped out and said something about her laptop. (: Then Imandes and Emin got out, and people helped us to turn the car back. Luckily we didn’t have even scratches. Those safety straps saved us.

Should I mention that the truck’s driver disappeared together with truck? We don’t have video recording, if we were, it would be interesting to watch, and especially interesting to know the number of the truck.

The guy who works for the insurance came. When he called us, I have asked, shell I tell him our coordinates? He said yes. I already got them from Mappero, and started to tell numbers. He said, wait, what are you saying? - Coordinates. - Just tell me where you are. My friends started to laugh.

The insurance guy could not help us as an insurance company worker. However he helped us a lot as a person we met. We changed the wheel by using backup wheel, and after some time I was able to move ruined car into his garage in Alaverdi. We left the car there, and went to Tbilisi by another car we rented.

Then another car got broken. After the fuel station. It was a Soviet car, which was hacked in a way that it works with natural gas. So he asked at the fuel station, that they don’t increase the pressure after 100. They’ve done 180. He said if he go with 80 km/hour, car will explode. Then he called someone, and asked to bring: a strap, a drill and a something like a wire, if I remember correctly. It was almost at the Georgian border. He found us another driver with another car, but at the border guards didn’t want to let Emin out because he’s passport is “not in good condition”. Eventually we passed, we are in Tbilisi, alive and happy. Surprisingly my room is at the top of the building, it has a nice terrace. Amazing view. Tomorrow is a first day of the workshop.
