I don’t like when the word #folder is used. As far as I remember we had no #folders before #microsoft #windows. We had #directory structure and #directories.

Why do we keep calling directories folders?

Also, I feel that it does not make deep sense even for a native #english speaker. Why folder? I can understand #file and #directory of files. #terminology
