What's new in MGIF 4.2? ======================= Major new features: GIF89 - Thanks to Howard Chu, mgif now reads the new GIF89 files. Due to lack of such files this has not been fully tested. Rotation - You can now rotate images to any integer angle! Free extras from the new rotation code: shear and scale MiNT - Well it still doesn't use MiNT and its not entirely MultiTOS friendly, but you can now run it from a window with no great problems using the -c switch. Colour - Still no colours on screem, but mgif will run just fine in any of the ST and Falcon030 bitplane modes. On a Falcon I wouldn't recommend that, however, since you also have the 15 bit true colour mode. Try it! Wildcards - You no longer have to name every file on the command line when you run mgif from the desktop. The normal TOS wildcards are supported and bad files are skipped. JPEG - The latest version (4a) of the Independent JPEG Groups library is used which means faster JPEG loading.
