CDROMXY.XFS CDROMXY.XFS is the CDROM driver and and MiNT filesystem to access multisession capable CDROM XA drives. This needs MiNT V0.96 at minimum. It looks into its own filename to find out which device and drive it should access and give access to. X is the ASCII drive letter and Y is the physical SCSI device number. CDROML4.XFS would expect to find the PhotoCD drive on SCSI device number 4 and will create a device, that can be accessed throgh drive letter L: from applications or the desktop. BUGS: - This XFS driver can only work with SCSI devices. (but otherwise: who cares for ACSI for this stuff ?) The previously reported problem 'The driver still would have problems in accessing Kodak Portfolio Disks (sound information etc.) with Falcon030' is not existing. It was a software problem in the application program that showed the ortfolio Disks. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COLORPCD.PRG This is a software for PhotoCD Access. Please set the access path to the picture directory to the approproate drive letter, where the Photo CD drive shows its directory. If you do NOT want to use a PhotoCD drive, you may copy the files from PhotoCD to a harddisk and use this as PhotoCd replacement. If the appropriate path is set, COLORPCD can be put into a slideshow-mode by pressing 'Alt-X'. You can exit this mode by holding down the.... ups, I don't remember, I'll find out... :-) The best look of the photos is of course achieved if using 640x480 interlaced, TrueColor and being in the sliedshow-mode. Though in interlace mode, the photos look sharp and do not look flickery - thats because those sample photos are made to look optimal on standard TV sets (and therefore in interlace mode).
