INTRODUCTION:


Here are a few configuration files for BinkleyTerm/ST 3.00+ and
IOSmail 0.89 (and presumably higher) that should get you started
in bringing up an AtariNet or FIDOnet (or go for the big banana
and do BOTH!) node with relative ease.

These files work on my system, so you should be able to edit the
node numbers and path specifications to suit your system's needs.


FILES INCLUDED IN THIS ARCHIVE:


AREAS.BBS             File that defines your echo areas
BINKLEY.CFG           Bink/ST 3.00+ Configuration
EXCHANGE.CFG          List of Raleigh Dial translations for Bink/ST
BINKLEY.EVT           Bink/ST Events File
IOSMAIL.CFG           IOSmail Configuration
README.TXT            This file
*.BAT                 Various Turbo/FoReM compatible batch files

HOW TO USE THESE FILES:

The first thing you should do is print out these files and go over
them with a fine tooth comb.  Just because I am making it a bit
easier for you to set up a viable FIDO-style system doesn't mean
that you should blow off learning how your system works.

This will make it easier for you to debug problems that may crop up
later.  Trust me, you'll feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that
you eradicated that bug rather than running around like a chicken
with its head cut off!  ;)


IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS:

You shouldn't have any problems, but if you do, try to resolve it with
the documentation for the appropriate programme.  If you are still having
problems, then feel free to contact me with your problem and the steps
you have tried to use in solving the problem and I'll be happy to work
with you.

These files work for me, so they should work for almost anyone!
