BATBOX has a special monochrome color scheme; use the /P4 switch. Other programs that incorporate screen attributes are INPUT, WRITE, KLS, and LAUNCHER. For LCD users, a color or attribute value of 15 provides good black-on-white contrast, while a value of 120 provides the best white-on- black display. For monochrome users, the following attribute values provide the corresponding effects on a BLACK background: 0 - black (i.e., invisible), 1 - Underlined white, 7 - White, 9 - Underlined hi intensity, 15 - Hi inten- sity, 17 - Underlined blinking white, 23 - Blinking white, 25 - Underlined hi-intensity blinking white, and 31 - Hi-intensity blinking white. To achieve the above effects on a WHITE (reverse video background), ADD 128 to the values listed.
