Enter the starting date for this event, in this format:

    YYYY/MM/DD

Examples:

    1990/12/25   is Christmas day, December 25, 1990
    1991/3/1     is March 1, 1991
    2015/08/02   is August 2, 2015

After the date is entered, it will be displayed in expanded format, with the
day of the week.

If you attempt to enter an invalid date, the computer will beep and you will
not be allowed to continue.

These are the functions performed when the following key is pressed:

F1 - Display Help Screen.

F6 - Accept all event changes.

ESC - Cancel all event changes.

TAB, Enter - Go to Time field.

Shift-TAB  - Go to Type field.
