Holding the recorder
 LEFT HAND
Cover the hole at the back
with your thumb (thumb hole).
Then cover the first three
holes on the front with your
first three fingers.

RIGHT HAND
With your thumb underneath
the rcorder, cover the next
three holes with your first
fingers.Leave the last hole 
open.
