Care of the recorder
Before playing warm the mouth-
piece in your hand, to reduce
condensation build up in the
instrument. Clean the instru-
ment by using a soft rag on a
stick and wipe the instrument
after playing. Be careful not
to touch the delicate lip in
the window as this might alter
the tone. Assemble parts with
a slow twisting motion and
apply light grease to the
joints occasionally.
