There was a "catch phrase" on that previous page. Did you see it ? It was, "IF your music is acceptable ..." Thusfar, we have reviewed 3,006 music files in the ROL, MIDI and CMF formats. Of these, we have kept 1,000 and discarded 2,006. Some were discarded because some clown simply renamed an existing file to get upload credits on a BBS. Others had five or six closely-related renditions of the same song. We simply picked the best and dumped the rest. In some, the timing was skewed by the conversion process. If it's in the ROL format, I can generally repair a timing problem. In others, the tonal quality or sound frequencies were skewed by the conversion process (or maybe the creator was simply playing off-key to begin with. Who knows ?) In some, unfortunately, the skill (or lack of skill) of the file creator was at fault and the file had to be discarded. I LOVE MUSIC and I will accept nothing less than the best you've got to offer for our customers. I don't care if you are a "known" artist or not. The quality of what you produce is all that counts.
