In the User Manual list of files, the index file "PARTDESC" does not go with the "UNITPART" data file but should be listed with the data file "INVENTO". * * IMPORTANT * * If you are running DOS 5 or later, and use the memory manager EMM386, it will automatically set up some simulated expanded memory (EMS) and, if it is available, the TRUCK program will try to use it. If your EMM386 line in your CONFIG.SYS file includes the phrase 'NOEMS', you will get an 'Out of memory' message when you try to start the program. You can edit the EMM386 CONFIG.SYS line to change 'NOEMS' to 'RAM' to overcome this problem or you can run the DOS MEMMAKER again and answer the EMS question 'Y' instead of 'N'. MEMMAKER will replace the 'NOEMS' with 'RAM'. If you have other programs that require the "NOEMS" phrase, you can enter this command at the DOS prompt (or include it in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file): SET CLIPPER=E000 and TRUCK will not attempt to use any EMS memory.
