SCBATRAK INSTALLATION NOTES --------------------------- If you received SCBATRAK from a computer bulletin board system or CD-ROM, the automatic installation program has not been included in order to reduce the file size. To use the program, follow these instructions: 1. Make a new directory on your hard drive named SCBATRAK using the DOS command: md \scbatrak and then press Enter 2. Change to the new directory using the DOS command: cd\scbatrak and then press Enter 3. Extract all of the files from the archive into the new directory. 4. To run the program, use the command: scbatrak and then press Enter ============================================================================== IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USERS OF SCBABOTL: ------------------------------------- If you are replacing an SCBABOTL installation with SCBATRAK, and you are limited on how much free disk space you have available, the install program may tell you there is not enough room to install the program. The install program needs 680K of free disk space before it will run. If this is the case, try deleting your SCBABOTL.EXE file to free up enough disk space. If you are a registered user of SCBABOTL, SCBATRAK will automatically convert your data files to the new format. If you have not yet registered, it won't. You will have to manually reenter all of your data or register. =============================================================================== IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PERSONS UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION OF SCBATRAK ------------------------------------------------------------------------ When the installation program runs, it will detect the presence of your current SCBATRAK.EXE file. It will ask you if you want to reinstall the program. Answer Y for YES. ===================================== END ======================================
