  The mode selection allows you to select the type of menus and features
  for See Mail.

  The standard mode is designed for new, or regular e-mail users. It
  provides a good mix of features for every day use.

  The advanced mode is for heavy mail users, system administrators,
  and users who want the maximum number of features. Only select this
  if you are a seasoned PC user.

  Either mode is simply changed after See Mail is installed using the
  Setup option, to select the alternative mode. (This allows you to
  upgrade to the Advanced mode if you find you need the extra features,
  and as you become familiar with the product as a whole).
