If there is a subject that ^4you've really come to grips with and you feel that you'd like to ^4share what you've learnt, and maybe how you learnt it, with others, ^4send it in. Remember that we do not just want articles/tutorials ^4from the experts, many beginners would enjoy and benefit from ^4something written by someone who hasn't been programming for very ^4long. ^4 Please send these in as ASCII files on disk, as it will then save a ^4lot of time here and if you have a longish article, it is more likely ^4to be included in the next issue even if it arrives two days before ^4publishing day! ^4 There is no need to send a print out as well, save a tree! Your ^4disk will be returned to you with the issue in which your article ^4appears, or if you want your disk back sooner, send a stamp as well! ^2 PROGRAMS. ^4 We are not so interested in HUGE programs as these take up too much ^4disk space and we aim to provide variety. ^4 The program may have to be changed to be used. For example, if your ^4prog uses a specific piece of music, then this will be changed to use ^4the TA music file. We will make sure that the Dir$ called will work ^4with TA. (This is why Simon's prog wouldn't work in the last issue.) ^4 All programs will now work FROM THE TA DISK. If you want to move the ^4program to your own disk, then you will have to alter the relevant ^4line as mentioned at the top of each listing. ^4 We would really like to see more useful routines and procedures ^4which can be included in other peoples programs. As the idea of TA is ^4to help other people by letting people see inside your program, do ^4not lock your procedures or compile the programs! ^4 Please send some docs with your proggies as this will let us know ^4what your program does and will give you the chance to let readers ^4know how to use the prog/routine and any alterations which will be ^4needed to make it run. (This may include loading other files, ^4pictures, music etc) ^4 Again your disk will be returned with your next issue, or sooner if ^4you send a stamp! ^2 GRAPHICS & MUSIC inc Sound Samples ^4 Again, obviously, on disk!! ^4 Graphics, either as IFF screens or in Amos readable form for bob ^4banks. ^4 Music, either as SoundTracker modules or .ABK files. Samples are ^4also welcome. ^2 HINTS & TIPS ^4 Hints and tips are needed, even if you think "Everyone must know ^4that!" send it in as it's not always the case! Tips need not be ^4complicated, high powered routines, the simplest thing are often the ^4most useful. ^2 LETTERS & PROBLEMS ^4 KEEP ON WRITING! Whether it's a problem or things you'd like to see ^4in TA, keep those letters coming in! ^2 THINGS FOR SALE ^4 Join our Bargain Corner with any computer stuff you'd like to get ^4rid of. Include your name, address and Phone number. Remember that ^4any deals made are strictly between the seller and the buyer, and ^4nothing to do with TA! ^2SISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISISIS \
