Please keep them coming. ^5As you intend, they are a great introduction to programming for both ^5the younger reader and the newcomer to Amos. My eldest son (aged 10) ^5finds this part of the magazine indispensible and with a little ^5coaching from me, is learning the fun that's to be had from ^5programming. Don't even think about dropping this section (oe else!) ^6 Ronnie also expands on his idea of getting `Special Deals' for TA ^6readers..... ^5 In relation to my suggestion about `cracking a deal' with software ^5suppliers in the questionnaire - as to date I don't own the Amos ^5compiler or the Amos 3D construction programs, I do intend buying ^5them in the future, but I'm always on the hunt for a bargain! I'm ^5sure there is a number of readers like myself who would appreciate a ^5specially reduced price on certain packages. I don't know if this is ^5something that could be arranged for interested readers, but there's ^5no harm in asking. And there's always future Amos products like your ^5tutorial book and disk, Easy Amos and Amos V2.0. I just love special ^5offers!! ^2 As our readership is quite small (but keen and dedicated) we do not ^2have the bargaining power of larger groups. You would probably get a ^2better deal from searching through the Ads in the magazines! Easy ^2Amos for example has a RRP of £34.95p, we recently had our catalogue ^2from Special Reserve which advertises it for £22.99p! (plus ^2membership fee of £6.99p if not a member already). We shall be ^2looking to get Easy Amos as a competition prize very soon, so keep ^2your eyes peeled to TA! Also, look in our Readers' Bargain Section ^2to see what's there! ^2 As to the matter of "Amos in Action" we'll have to see what we can ^2do! ^3-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ^6 Ian Pollard from Kent added a few lines when he sent in his ^6questionaire. ^5 Congratulations on reaching Issue 3 of TA. I do like the Totally ^5Useless section, keep it going. Allowing the use of the keyboard has ^5been a real boon for me as I was brought up on computers in those ^5heady days of the Vic 20 and Commodore 64 when a mouse was a small, ^5furry animal that squeaked a lot and kept getting chased by a cat ^5called Tom! My only gripe about the magazine is that the viewing ^5area could be larger (as mentioned in the questionnaire). ^3-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ^6 Len & Betty Boyns from Rochester write...... ^5 Many thanks for your kind remarks on TA3 which we have both enjoyed. ^5Betty and I have very much enjoyed the Cliffhanger game. I intend to ^5study the 3D tuition and being artistic would also like to look at ^5the children's art course, but the updated program seems to be ^5missing. ^5 I like the new keyboard controls you have installed and the "HELP" ^5facility with the bouncing card. ^2 .....Well done L & B! You were the only ones who spotted that this ^2prog. was missing. We haven't found it yet, but are redoing it for ^2a future issue! Another attack of the Gremlins is suspected here as ^2it was on Hard drive, but somehow never made it to the finished ^2magazine master disk. ^3LlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlLlL \
