APD 347. PROGRAMS BY BILL CURRIE. ^5 This is not so much of a new release as a rearranging of disks since ^5the last TA. Just to get things straight I thought that it would be ^5better to include these again to match the Déjà Vu catalogue. ^2APD 346. Programs by Bill Currie. ^5 This disk contains four shareware programs. Page Editor can be used ^5to create pages of text with pictures for use with the Scrapbook ^5program. Filemanager assembles IFF pictures, or pages created with ^5Page Editor, Scrapbook is a program that turns the pages into a ^5`book' that you can browse through. Delacer removes the interlace ^5from IFF screens, resizes, standardises and zooms. You can also use ^5it to move regions of the screen to a different location. ^2APD 347. Programs by Bill Currie. ^5 This disk has three shareware programs. Evaluator is a program to ^5demonstrate and use a an EVAL procedure written with AMOS. Notebook ^5is a program you can use to jot down those little snippets of info ^5you'd like to keep handy. Shopper allows you to create your shopping ^5list and it also works out the cost for you, it will handle up to 170 ^5items. ^2APD 348. Sample files by Bill Currie. ^5 This disk contains sample files for the above two disks. ^4NB APD 345 has been withdrawn as the program is now on the above ^4disks. ^7--------------------------------------------------------------------- ^2 APD 356. ^2 PowerBase v2.0 Demo. ^2 by Steven Rennocks. ^1 This is a demo version of LPD 77. See how other programmers ^1construct their routines. ^2 APD360. ^2 Amos Programs 28. ^2 Various authors. ^1 Another disk for the collectors of Amos source code. ^2 APD 361. ^2 Estranged. ^2 By Dr. Strange. ^1 This is a demo which has been compiled, but also has the source code ^1on the disk. There are two main parts to the demo with a third giving ^1the greetings etc. ^1 The first is called `Interference' and is a mind blowing plasma-like ^1screen with bobs swirling around. The second is a 3-D demo, not Amos ^13-D, but the sort you need 3-D glasses for. ^1 The end sequence has an unusual font in the scrolly message. (see ^1PD reviews section for more). ^2 APD 363. ^2 Family History Database V1.01. ^1 This is an updated version of APD 132 which has now been withdrawn. ^1There is now a print facility to allow you to print out your records. ^2 APD 364. ^2 Word Power. ^2 By Steven Rennocks. ^1 This is a spell checker that will also help you to solve crosswords ^1and anagrams. The dictionary included has over 3,700 words, and ^1there is a challenge for users to send in larger dictionaries and ^1foreign language files. ^2 APD 365. ^2 Zenn Soundbox II. ^1 A disk of music complete with player. The tracks on the disk are:- ^1Samari. Walker, Lament, Fast Beat, Fast Train, Machine, Armalyte, ^1Artaarta, and Countdown. ^2 APD 366. ^2 Chain Reaction & CPU Challenge ^2 by Dr Strange ^1 This is a disk containing two games, both of which should keep you ^1occupied for quite a few hours. ^1 In CPU Challenge you have to find where computer viruses are lurking ^1in your CPU chip by first bouncing light rays across the playing ^1area, then marking these places so they can be destroyed. A game to ^1test your deduction and memory skills. Full instructions are in the ^1game. ^1 The second game is a real goody! Chain Reaction is a two player ^1strategy game. The play area is a grid and the two players have to ^1take turns at placing bombs on the squares. Each square is able to ^1hold set numbers of bombs, you place bombs in piles until the limit ^1is reached, then the square explodes. The explosion affects the ^1adjacent squares, which in turn affect the squares next to them and ^1so on, hence a chain reaction. ^1 It has to be played to be appreciated, see reviews section for more. ^2 APD 367. ^2 Weird in Edgeways. ^2 By Chris Banks. ^1 This is an absorbing puzzle game where the aim is to guide your ^1droid around a circuit board tightening loose screws. To guide the ^1droid to screws you have to drop blocks which it follows to reach its ^1target. There are hazards to be overcome before you can exit via the ^1I/O port. (for more, see the reviews section.) ^2*PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD**PD* \
