The pieces in this ^7game are fluffy (fwuffy) red creatures and you save them by removing ^7them from the game screens. ^7 There are loads of levels and you do not need to empty a level in ^7the 24 moves allowed. You leave a level by clicking on the EXIT ^7button and if you've done enough, you go onto the next level. If ^7not, the Fwuffs are twapped forever. ^7 This game should come with a health warning, it is highly addictive! ^7The graphics are simple, but they do their job. ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. This game is written for very young ^7children, probably help to read the messages will be needed but there ^7is plenty of things in this miniventure that even 3 year olds can do ^7by themselves. The game starts in the child's bedroom and you have ^7to click on an object to take on your quest. ^7 There are four lands for you to visit, Toyland, Animal Land, ^7Witchland and Fairytale land. There is a task to perform in each of ^7these lands that will send you further along your way. ^7 The graphics for the game tasks are very well drawn and the effects ^7used are also very good. Although parts of the program could have ^7been a bit more polished, it is a good game for little adventurers ^7who aren't as critical as us adults! ^7 Worth a look and a donation to the Animal rights organisation who ^7will benefit from the proceeds. Recommended. ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. [2^1S A V E T H E T R E E S .[0 ^2APD 343 ^4by MARK POTTER. ^7 Another game with a message. The author of this game wants us to ^7take care of the trees that are left on this planet. ^7 The game involves stopping the little axemen from chopping down the ^7trees by catching them with your bulldozer. ^7 This is not as easy as it sounds as the men are faster than the ^7dozer and there are loads of them! ^7 The graphics are a bit small, but the game is very playable and ^7worth a look. ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. I don't mean that it's bad ^7programming, but that it's output will get you giggling! ^7 The idea is to input 10 names and 10 situations, then you can let ^7the computer do the rest. It displays sentences with random ^7inclusions of the names and situations that were typed in earlier. ^7 This can give rise to some fun, as our kids prooved when let loose ^7with it. Things such as `Dad met Mum and slapped her' and the like ^7led to great hilarity. ^7 The sentences can be displayed against a starfield if you like and ^7there is an option of speech, but as is normal, this slows things ^7down no end. There is a save feature as well as a couple of other ^7effects including music. ^7 Good fun for kids and adults, but be careful what you type in!!! ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. I like to ^7see a new title given to an old game, and this one catches the eye. ^7 The graphics are really good with a jungle-like border around the ^7playing area. The game graphics look good and the gameplay is fast ^7and furious. One wrong move and you're a dead snake in the grass! ^7 Well worth a look at, it's good PD, hopefully Peter will do another ^7soon, and maybe with a novel idea he'll get a title on Licenseware ^7one day. ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. Paul used to produce that mag, and now he ^7has plans to produce a new more Amos based mag called Zirus, (see APD ^7353 for a demo.) ^7 Paul has provided three Amos source programs on this disk and they ^7are goodies. Bouncy has an excellent bounce effect, Multi scroll ^7puts lots of scrolly text on the screen and Animdots is a very pretty ^7pattern effect with cycling colours rather like a fibre optic lamp. ^7 Also on the disk are a couple of pieces of music and two non Amos PD ^7graphic utility progs for grabbing pics and converting them to IFF ^7files. ^7 Good source disk for finding new ideas. ^6..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo..oo. \
