лллллллллллллллл л SQUISH л л л ллллллллллллллллллллллллллл By лллллллллллллллллллллллллллл л л л Neil Kennedy л лллллллллллллллл This is a new version of an old game. No it's not Space Invaders, or anything like that, instead it's a rendition of those games that you usually find at fairs and the like. You know the ones where these critters pop up, and you have to smack them over the head ? well Squish is very similar. HOW TO PLAY Upon running the game, you will be faced with six holes in the ground, and the Knight will be standing in the centre of the screen. Each of the six holes is numbered, strangely enough form one to six. This simply tells you which key you must hit to attack the corresponding hole. So if a Blob pops out of the third hole, then hit "3" on the main keyboard, or the numeric pad. And that's it really, you must try and stop your score falling below 0, because when that happens it "GAME OVER MAN". You will then be told the highest score that you managed to get. It is a bit easy, but I don't have time to implement any more features, so I'm afraid you'll have to do that yourself. In the program, if you change a couple of variables ( I cant remember them off my head, but I marked them in the code ) you can make the ghosts pop up and down faster, which gives you more of a challenge. Lastly, note that you can only splat the Blobs when they are completely out of their holes, and if one pops up and down before you splat him then you lose points. Okay, have fun experimenting. Oh I'd better say thanks to Karl for giving me the original idea. Cheers mate.
