Notes When an article is being read, the option buttons will be replaced by a `status bar' which will show you where you are in an article, and how many lines there are in that article. We hope that this will be of use to the people who asked for it! Also in the print section, after you are asked if you would like to print the screen or the whole file, a requestor will ask you if you would like the excess blank lines removed for printing, answer yes or no. Some people like to see the articles spaced out for easy reading, others prefer to save paper, so to satisfy all, you may choose! On loading you will be presented with the Main Menu, if you press the «HELP» key, you will get the Help screen which you can call at any time to guide you around the magazine. There are many more features now than when TA started in September 1991, and it will probably be less confusing if we leave all explaining of the controls to this Help Screen!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- We want to provide a meeting place for Amos enthusiasts where everyone has an equal right to contribute. This magazine is aimed mainly at beginners, but we welcome ALL Amos people. We hope that those with more programming knowledge will help those who are just starting out. It's YOUR magazine, we are here mainly to co-ordinate YOUR contributions and encourage people to write the things YOU want to see and read about. The only way this magazine can be a sucess is if its readers contribute, whether in the form of a program, routine, tip, artwork, suggestions, problems, answers, tutorials, reviews etc, etc, etc........ Looking forward to hearing from YOU, Keep AMOSing!! Len & Anne Tucker. March 1994 _+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_
