Way back in the depths of time, a few millenium ago I bought an Atari STFM
and got a copy of STOS Basic with it.  As I had "upgraded" from the Speccy
the power of STOS seemed incredible compared to Sinclair Basic. 
Anyway I struggled along trying to grasp one new concept after the other
with little or no support from the S.T magazines, there were also very few
STOS disk mags or user clubs so in the end I decided to join the Official 
STOS User Club.  I sent my 12 quid off and waited, and waited.
About four months later I decided to try again (as the cheque had not been 
cashed) So I sent another 12 quid and waited.  Nothing happened, the cheque
was not cashed.  During this time Amos had appeared on the Amiga and it 
seemed all the support and interest and a lot better language was to be had.
So I decided to sell my S.T and got an Amiga. I bought Amos 1.2 from a mate
and settled down to learn Amos.  It wasn`t long before I had dozens of 
questions and problems I couldn`t find the answers to so I decided to check
out The Amos Club, Oh dear it`s the same address and the same bloke running 
it! O.k I`ll give it a go, off goes the 12 quid and I wait and wait.........
Two months later (cheque not cashed) I decide to try and find out the phone 
number, no chance, so I phone up Europress, no answer for two days solid.
I eventually wrote a letter to Europress to find out what was going on.
About three weeks later I received my letter back with with a note scrawled
at the bottom saying something like sorry for inconvience. My cheque was
returned.

Am I barred from these clubs? Is there a Amos blacklist?

What have I done wrong?       Am I the only person this has happened to?  

Am I just too impaitent?

As far as I can tell The Amos club is going strong, though I have heard the
newsletters are few and far between.  Anyone care to comment?
