ABOUT POWERBASE

PowerBase is an extremely powerful and user-friendly database system.

For those of you in the know Powerbase is a memory based card style
database.

The development of PowerBase to V3.00g has taken 3 years from 1990-2,
the original V1.00 being written in AmigaBasic which wasn`t quite up
to the job of shifting large amounts of data around quickly.

So when AMOS + Compiler was finally released development really took
off and as they say the rest is history!


V3.00 of PowerBase maybe the last database that I (Steven Rennocks)
ever write because I feel that it has reached the limits that I and
many others wanted from a database : powerful and yet user-friendly
in use.

If enough people write to me demanding a further updated version then
I may be persuaded into producing a new version that you can upgrade
to for a few pounds.
