ABOUT AUTHOR ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Welcome to PowerBase V3.00 the best and probably final version of POWERful dataBASE system written by me (Steven Rennocks). I have produced many other high quality programs which all started out as programs that I wrote for myself and so I continued to improve them until I was advised to release them. Some of my best known programs include :- Formula One Challenge - V2.00 - Licenced to Deja Vu Software (LPD 44) Power Planner - V1.10 - Licenced to Deja Vu Software (LPD 65) Spectra - Licenced to Deja Vu Software (LPD 78) All-Square - Licenced to Deja Vu Software (LPD ?) Word Power - Shareware This is how these programs are marketed at the time of writing 20/04/1992, but this may of course change (contact me for details.) Details of other projects and updated versions can be found in the Other projects file on this disk. At the time of writing this (See above) I am a 17 year old student about to take "A" levels in Physics , Maths , Economics and General Studies. I plan to continue my education and take a BSC degree in Computer Science at Staffordshire Polytechnic/University. I started programming in 1984 at the age of 9 when I bought a Sinclair Spectrum with a huge 16k of memory! I then bought a 48K spectrum followed by a Spectrum +2. In 1988 I bought an Amstrad 6128 and then less than four months after this I bought an Amiga 500 , which I then upgraded to an A500 plus in November 1991. I began by typing in program listing from magazines and modifying them to do or operate as I wanted. I was soon writing my own games from scratch. Since owning an A500 I have moved to producing utilities and application programs such as PowerBase , but despite this my best selling program is still a game : Formula One Challenge.
