     * The AMOS programs on this disk are released into the public *
     * domain to be freely distributed by the Official AMOS Public *
     * Domain Library, run by Ann Tucker. *
     *                                                                   *
     * All of these programs are originals, which have never been *
     * released before. They were written to assist me with program *
     * development and have been thoroughly tested, so they may be of *
     * interest to other AMOS programmers. *
     *                                                                   *
     * Documentation files are supplied for each, which although not *
     * extensive, should be sufficient to get people started. *
     *                                                                   *

                                Disk Contents

        The following AMOS programs are installed on this disk as AMOS
        Basic source files, and as Workbench 1.3 compiled programs. To
        use the source programs you will need a copy of AMOS1.3x.

                Appear.AMOS - Experiment with the AMOS 'Appear'
                                     command    variables  using   this
                                     interactive keypad.

                FileEd.AMOS - An AMOS clone of NewZap. This
                                     program lets  you  directly  alter
                                     bites within a loaded file.

                GrabBOB.AMOS - As the name suggests you can grab
                                     Sprites and Bob's from any IFF
                                     file and save them as an AMOS
                                     Sprite bank.

                GrabIFF.AMOS - Save disk space by cutting down
                                     you IFF file pictures to their
                                     minimum size, or cut a section out
                                     of a larger screen and save it.

        All of these programs were written on an Amiga A500 with 2 Mb
        RAM in AMOS v1.34, and compiled in v1.34, so they should run
        without major bugs.

        I have to admit that I don't have a list of what is currently
        in your library so I can only hope that I am not duplicating
        what has gone before. As they are originals they may be
        sufficiently different to warrant inclusion anyway?

        Well that's all there is to say. If you think these programs
        are good enough Ann for inclusion in the AMOS PD Library I
        would be pleased to know. If not I would still appreciate a
        note so that I can make a better attempt in the future.

        Regards,
