^1 This will help with Compiled or Ramos'd programs.

^4 This problem was found when we were putting together the [2AMOS[0 P.D.
^4Library disks.

^1 Every now and then, a program will crash with `bank not found' due
^1to Amos not always appreciating music and samples being saved with
^1the program. The way around this is to make the music and sams load
^1every time the program is run.

^6 This one comes from our own experience with Sound Tracker. We used
^6to wonder why sound samples interrupted the playing of some music but
^6not other pieces. The ones we'd put in ourselves were almost always
^6O.K. while the `heavier' styles of music stopped and started for the
^6sound effects.

^2 After looking at both styles in Sound Tracker, we saw the answer.
^2Our music rarely uses all 4 channels, therefore by using the spare
^2channel for samplying, the music carried on.
 
^1 So if you can keep a free channel, do so.
 
^1 To make the sam play on channel 4, use the command:-

^6 Samplay8,[4sam number,frequency[0

^1 The default is channel 1.

^1Here'a a list for all 4 channel, using sam number 1 and frequency of
^110,000 as examples

^2To Play sam on channel 1 - Samplay1,1,10000

^2     "      "  channel 2 - Samplay2,1,10000

^2     "      "  channel 3 - Samplay4,1,10000

^2     "      "  channel 4 - Samplay8,1,10000

^1 Using this you can have music and sfx at the same time.
