^1 This is the first edition of the only^3 AMOS^1 magazine on disk. This
^1edition is to be distributed via^2 Public Domain^1 so that you can see
^1what we intend doing and hopefully let us know what you think.

^2 This is not a `club' as such and we do not ask for a membership fee
^2for any service we can provide in the magazine. We would like to
^2create a friendly environment where everybody can take part, whether
^2giving help to other programmers, or by asking for help with their
^2own problems.

^1 It is being aimed mostly at beginners, although hopefully there will
^1be enough levels of skill contributing to [2Totally Amos[0 to make it
^1interesting for everyone.

^2 The purpose of this magazine is to bring^3 AMOS^2 users together to
^2exchange ideas, find help with their problems and generally get the
^2most from^3 AMOS^2 programming.

^1 The contents of each issue will vary according to demand, we will do
^1our best to include articles which will interest you from as many
^1sources as possible - and that includes[2 YOU!![0
 
^2 We have been promised articles from well known names on the [2AMOS[0
^2scene, Sandra Sharkey has written an article about Licenseware in
^2`Sandra's Space' and we hope to include contributions from Peter
^2Hickman in the future. 

^4[3 ALL^6[0 material sent in will be read and considered for inclusion, but
^6as we are aiming this disk at[3 ALL^6[0 ages, anything considered offensive
^6will be put in the bin!

^1[3Your reviews of programs written with^3 AMOS,^2[0 if you've bought a P.D.
^2or Licenseware program and want to tell everyone about it, send in

^2[1 Problems with programming.[0^1 Whether you're a beginner or getting
^1stuck with more complex problems, we'll try and find an answer. If we
^1cannot answer, we shall pass the problem onto someone who can.


^7[1 Hints & Tips.^6[0 We are looking for your Hints & Tips for this section.
^6These can only be found by the people who[2^3 USE AMOS,^6[0 they won't be in the
^6manual!

^1 These will be included[2 free of charge[0 for the following items.

^5needing graphics, artists wanting coders, etc. In other words, if

^5is the place to look.

^4other coders? If you are willing to share it, send it in!!

^5interested in seeing them. It's another way to advertise your talents!

^6[1 Musicians,^7[0 do not feel left out, we need some good music files as
^7well!!

^1disk? Let us hear them, please!
