Obitus

Obitus is a fantasy adventure game with a difference, you control Wil Mason a
teacher in medieval history.  It starts with Wil driving in a storm through
desolate countryside when all of a sudden his car breaks down, being unable to
repair it he takes shelter in a strange looking tower in the nearby woods
where he soon falls asleep.
When he awakens he has been transformed into a medieval peasant, even more
strange the road on which he was driving on and his car have vanished as
though he has been thrown back in time.
You have to guide Wil back to his own time by picking up objects, food and keys
etc., that help you find your way through the woods and into castles you find
on your travels.
Wil has a large bag to carry the items he collects which are controlled by
icons, he also has weapons to fight off the royal guards that always seem to be
on his tail.
