What does it have to offer ? Brightness and contrast controls are on the front of the unit, being easily accessible and it comes with the necessary leads for connection to the Amiga. There are inputs for composite video (PAL) and S-VHS (Super VHS) and the whole thing can be connected quite easily. The actual picture quality is very good, but there is no indication as to what colour is being processed, this is due to the fact that it is completely automatic. The loss of a manual mode makes it unusable with Digi-View, unless you are confident to undergo a bit of dodgy DIY by putting something metal in the connector ! Although it has it's good points, I'd go for the Rombo offering, Vidi RGB. Paul.
