What about colour ? Once you have done your anim (in mono) and set the sounds, etc, you can start to colour your images. This part of the program gives you a choice of 32 colours, but a dither option is available that gives about 500 variations ! It's just a matter of filling your images with colour, but there are a few icons to help you. One of which is the Frisket option, this lets you lock some colours on the screen so you won't paint over them (Like a stencil.) and the actual palette can be different for each frame, so you could have red turning to yellow using one colour icon. Also IFF images can be loaded into this part of the program, allowing quite a few options for colouring your animations. Overall I found The Animation Studio to be very good and undoubtedly an aid to making full blown anims. The manual is fantastic, being an easy read for beginners and good enough for hard core graphics experts. Definately a good buy !!!
