Last issue we brought you the making of Populous to your screens.
With Populous II in development, what do Bullfrog have planned for the
future ?
Their current project is a series of data-disk's 'Worlds of Powermonger' for
the Powermonger game. The first will be set during the First World War, it
will have features such as digging trenches for protection to telling a
squadron of biplanes to bomb a village.
It will be like a complete new game with all new graphics and it will probably
sell at around £9.99
If it turns out to be successful, (I'm sure it will be !) then they will bring
out the second in the series which will be set in the American Civil War
(Union vs Confederate.) and native indian tribes added for extra difficulty.
Again the graphics will change and have things like big sailing boats, horse
train wagons, rockets, (To send messages.) and muskets.
After this, they plan to do a data disk set in the future and this disk could
even include the editors that they use to make the data disk's with !
