Welcome to MegaCD, the ULTIMATE indexing utilz using AmigaGuide!
You can use MegaCDtree to build a complete dir-tree of a CD-ROM, a volume
or a specific directory. Each directory of the tree will become a
clickable field (thanx to AmigaGuide), so you will be able to click a dir
and MegaCD will automagically scan it in order to create a list of files,
descriptions (if there are any) and possible actions to easily explore
it. The only difficult thing is probably to explain you how to use them,
but i can assure you that these indexing utils are the simplest and
fastest idea ever!!!
The wonderful thing is that you can use them as a global viewer utility,
since you'll be able to play samples and mods, view images and anims
(including MPEG!), read files (including HTML ones!), extract (but also
list and test, when possible) lha,lzx,dms and zoom archives (with the
possibility to view the file_id.diz) or simply copy a file to another dir
(default ram:). Moreover MegaCD will associate the program Multiview to
the unknown files, in order to try visualizing them through datatypes.
