Important --------- This is my first attempt in writing a program with GUI, several subtasks and realtime display. If you detect errors/bugs/crashes (I'm afraid you will), please let me know. If the program crashes at first start dont't just delete it angrily but send me a flame as well :) Features -------- - Multithreaded level meter and status display - Asynchronous writes to harddisk - Generates AIFF, MAUD or WAVE files Limitations ----------- Only 16 bit stereo recording at the moment. Does anyone really need mono ?!? Requirements ------------ AHI audio system V2 AmigaOS 3.0 asyncio.library V37 68020 CPU Recommended ----------- 68030-25 or faster High quality 16 bit soundcard (Prelude for example ;) Play16 to play your recordings (Play16 is freeware, too!) Revision history ---------------- 1.0 - First public release 1.1 - Optimized levelmeter speed. Should run better on slow Amigas - Added WAVE save format 1.2 - Levelmeter sometimes 'lost' some segments. Hopefully fixed. Removed a bug in FORM size of MAUD and AIFF savers. Some programs refuse to load the file just because the sizes don't match :-( Known bugs ---------- In case of asyncio buffer overflow the program will hang.
