Reasons to use it: Implemented as a commodity. Can watch one file or millions (well, I've only tested it up to 16 at the moment, but there are no program-imposed limits). Well documented using HTML, with inline images etc. Has a preferences program, to configure the attributes for its GUI modules. Can also run programs or scripts when the state of the mailfiles change. Can start programs via the CLI or Workbench, using wbstart.library on OS 3.x systems, or WBStart-Handler on OS 2.x systems. Quits if run twice (in good AUISG style, unlike Sabot).
