PROGRAM NAME Prefs 2.0 AUTHOR Urban D. Müller (umueller@wuarchive.wustl.edu) SYNOPSIS Prefs FUNCTION Prefs selects the path where Inspect should extract files to, and what viewers it should use. The settings and their meaning: Extract to - The path where archives should be unpacked to. The directory must already exist. Default: RAM: LhA archiver - The archiver to unpack .lzh und .lha archives (used also for temporary extractions). Default: LhA Text viewer - The program used to view plain texts. If you specify AmigaGuide or Multiview, an internal amigaguide is used. Default: MultiView JPEG viewer - The program to be used for JPEG viewing. The default is FJPEG_AGA or FJPEG_ECS depending on your Amiga. Pic viewer - The program to be used for viewing all the other pictures. Default: VT Mod player - The program to be used for playing music modules. Default: Player (Multiplayer). You should specify absolute paths for those viewers if they are not on the Aminet CD. All need a CLI interface, they get the files to be viewed as arguments. Starting from version 2.0 you can set the file names using a file requester by clicking the 'Set' button (OS 2.x required).
