Short: Amiga 3D dudes at SIGGRAPH party This is a 768x480 JPEG compressed 24 bit color scan made of a photo I took with a throwaway Kodak camera loaded with ASA 400 film and flash at NewTek's "Screamer" Party held in conjunction with SIGGRAPH '93 in Anaheim, Calif. This is a shot in the patio of the party held at the Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park, CA, about 8 miles from the Anaheim show. Seated around a party table are: John Grieggs, author of "ISL" the Imagine Stating Language Steve Worley, author of "Understanding Imagine 2.0" and co-author of "Essence I & II" (procedural textures for Imagine) Mark Thompson, artist and producer of many outstanding LightWave- generated animations Glenn Lewis, co-producer (with Worley) of the Essence products plus a couple of other Amiga 3D artists. After the throwaway film was developed, I scanned this photo using my Epson ES300C 24 bit flatbed one-pass color scanner using ASDG's ADPro Epson driver (for which I wrote their manual ;-) and then processed the picture in ADPro and OpalPaint.
