Short: V2 of Silencio8 anim w/sound! 1.5MB/AV req. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% % % % SILENCIO8_ANIM v2.0!!! NOW WITH SOUND!!! % % % %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% What's it about? ========================================================= This is a cartoon about a guy who falls asleep in the library; quite noisily, I might add. The ppl around him get mad and get their revenge. The cartoon took about 2 months to draw... I hope you like the results! How to run.... ========================================================= Well, this demo is an AmigaVision flow, so you need to get AV first. :) Besides that, you also need about 1 - 1.5 MB total RAM, as all the sounds and gfx are loaded before running the animation. If you dont have as much memory (or don't have AV), you could always view the animation without sound, using any standard animation player. Most of the sounds are original, recorded with a homemade sampler (thanx, RedWine!) and some others with the GVP DSS-8 sampler. The gfx were all done in DPIII and DPIV. I have the rough sketches in .anim format if anyone would care to know 'how it's done' :) Run AmigaVision and load the script (or double-click on the Silencio8.AVf icon) and you're there. If you get an 'Amiga low on memory' message, try to either close the WB screen, or reduce the # of bitplanes to 2 with the sys:prefs/ScreenMode tool. You can also move the demo onto HD by using the AmigaVision 'relocate application' option. (which is how I use it :) ) Thanks to.... ============================ ..to all those ppl who responded to my earlier release without sound! Now let's see what else could I put in there...? :) ..to all at #Amiga for helping me on the installation of my internal A1000 HD (without whom, this might not have been possible, etc. etc.) ..to my friend Jaime from Sonora, MX who recorded the 'Favor de guardar silencio...' sample. ..to the dudes who posted and updated the sound sampler plans on the net (without whom, this might not have been... etc. etc.) ..Zop, and 130.60.80.80 for being the best dang aminet site in the universe. ..to the original Amiga team for dreaming up this wonderful machine!! (and had the common courtesy to leave their names signed on my A1000's top cover) :) And finally... ======================== *THE PLUG!* -- be sure to get my other anim... janusanim1.lha from AmiNet sites!
