The Elven Crystals

  The Kingdom of Ereworn was once a prosperous area, until
  the magic crystal presented to the king by a sorcerer,
  Elvaron the Elf, was smashed under mysterious circumstances,
  plunging the kingdom into anarchy. The king died, and his
  son was poisoned. Weak and greedy barons and regents coveted
  the throne, but none stayed on it for very long. There is a
  rumour that should the three parts of the crystal be reunited,
  then a magical doorway would open to the last resting place of
  Elvaron the Elf, said to have gathered unimaginable riches
  during his life as a sorcerer. As an adventurer, and never one
  to pass up the chance to gain a fortune, you set out for the
  distant kingdom of Ereworn to seek the long-lost pieces of the
  Elven Crystals, and piece together a thousand year old
  mystery. On your journey south, you were forced to kill a rob-
  ber in self-defence, but the villagers could not see the
  truth. The only way to convince them would be to deposit a
  princely sum in the coffers of the church. Hopefully, the
  treasure of Elvaron will contain more than a measly Prince's
  ransom! And so you set out on your quest. . .
