Short: A simple text-editor for the use of non-fixed-width fonts. Uploader: BersonM@aol.com (Marc Berson) Author: Joerg van de Loo Version: 0.95 (-beta-) Type: text/edit Update: to release from 25-Mar-00 BareED is a simple text-editor that deals with proportional fonts and gfx-cards. Designed for the AMIGA-OS but in mind a new OS featuring screen sharing through nets. Not fully working. Missing such nice things like: multiple projects, folding and other stuff but offers even in this release non-fixed colour pens. Does not use the console device of the AMIGA-OS but the graphic primitives. Requires OS 3 and at least a 68020 CPU. - CLI and WB interface - auto-detach from CLI - no rigid pens - deals with any AMIGA font, exception: colour-fonts - does not levity affect protection bits of existing files - icon saves with alternate icon image support - deals with smart refresh and simple refresh windows - screen support - clipboard support - text layout (block format) for normal and AmigaGuide documents - short cuts - bookmarks - quite quick search engine - button interface - button interface offers to access directly ARexx scripts - prepared to be multilingual - although very stable (on my system) some bugs left (not too critical) - binary only (for this release) - enclosed sources for startup-code (C) and memory copy routine (Asm) - comes along with a few ARexx scripts Sorry for the last release, it was made in a hurry of one hour so that I forgot to set the right default tools and tool types. This has been fixed for this release.
