$VER: ato.readme.first 1.01 (29-Dec-97) Standard ATO disclaimers ======================== This is the standard ATO.readme text. By vote of most members it has to be added somewhere in the distribution of translated software. You can do this either by dropping the English (or, if only published locally, any other appropriate language) version as single file into the place where most of the other documents reside or the main/root directory. The other way is to add a translated version to each of the translated document files. You can find some ready-to-use texts in this archive. The format of the language entries is as follows: Language: real name and E-mail address real name and E-mail address .. Furthermore, you should sort the languages alphabetically - just looks nicer.) You might notice that in some translations some languages are missing. This is not ment to be a discrimination or such: as the entries have to be modified and/or removed anyway I decided to take the fast lane and enter just the few languages that popped up my mind. This has been fixed in some files, but not all. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This software was translated with the help of ATO, the Amiga Translators` Organization. ATO is a non-profit organization that translates for the Amiga community. The following members were involved: Czech: Danish: [..] Amiga Translators' Organization - http://ato.vapor.com/ato mailto: ato-info@ato.vapor.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If possible you should also give the translators the possibility to add their names somewhere in the catalogs. The name should then be displayed in the program on the same `level` as the authors name. If the application uses C=-Amiga`s catalog system, it`s probably best to add an extra string to the catalog description like this TRANSLATION (//) [using built-in strings] and display it in the version requester. This is the commonly used method. The "[using built-in strings]" text can then be replaced by the translators name(s) in the catalog translation files.
