What the heck is F365 ?
-----------------------

    In short, Football 365 (F365) is a wonderful new on-line daily
newspaper dedicated to nothing but football.

    Football 365 was designed from scratch by leading Internet
technology company IMM Studios. It is effectively an on-line
publishing system that also has a direct link to the Press Association
so that news articles get sent to the editorial team as soon as they're
available. The most up-to-date news articles are on the Football 365 web
site (www.football365.co.uk). More in-depth analysis is provided by the
actual newspaper.

    However, there's more to it than just that! As well as providing the
most up-to-date news available in the footy world, each newspaper is
personalised to your own team preferences through the "Homeground"
section. Football 365 is big. So big in fact that they have leading
football journalists such as "Under the Moon" host Danny Kelly on the
team. F365 is available on the web, but is also designed to be
delivered via E-Mail. AmigaSoc could see that Football 365 is something
that many Amiga people would not want to miss out on (especially given
the tremendous popularity of Sensible Soccer even in these hard times).

    IMM has developed software to automatically unwrap the E-Mail and
view it in a web browser for lesser machines (PCs, in case you were in
any douby), but as it happens, IMM is also home to several members of
AmigaSoc UK. Although we are developing the Amiga version for free, in
return we ask that you support the developers of Amiga web browsers by
buying/registering your favourite browser to ensure that development of
that product continues.

    In case you're wondering, this Football 365 viewer is *official*
(or as official as you're going to get!).

	AmigaSoc has been given a target of around 1000 subscribers, and as
it costs absolutely nothing to register, why not show your support for
the Amiga and register right now ? What have you got to lose ?

Limitations with this version
-----------------------------

	First of all, let us make it clear that there isn't any dark and
nasty reason for restricting the version on this CD apart from lack
of space. You see, Football 365 is a *personalised* newspaper, so if
you happen to support Spurs, then you'll get extra news on all the
goings on at Spurs. If we were to include all the different versions
for all the different teams, it would take up quite a chunk of the CD,
which isn't strictly fair on people that aren't really interested in
football anyway!

	Mind you, it is a very good reason to sign up (and yes, it is
totally, completely and utterly *free*) on their website and prove to
the Football 365 people that the Amiga really will be kicking off the
future... and kicking the crap out of other machines!
