I am at the miserable age of 13. I live in a boring city known as Derby. I live at: 5 Spindletree Drive Oakwood Derby DE21 2DG If you do send me anything (ASDA Coupons, SONY Floppy disks, mail telling me you hate my icons etc. @{i}Please@{ui} put my name on it!!! I don't want my parents reading my mail. I have an A1200 with a Blizzard 1230-IV board, 4MB 60ns SIMM, 50MHz FPU, Half knackered Zappo CD-ROM (This should bring Martin Szybut and Robin (Ha-Ha) Williams out into fits of laughter.), Dataflyer SCSI Interface, Zip drive, a MODEM very shortly, INTEGREX Colourjet Series 2 printer, a TV and a partridge in a pear twee. And we have a very expensive alarm system and two ferocious Rotweilers at home so don't bother trying to nick any of it. Anyhow, I get about 1 hour's sleep each night and spend the vast majority of my sad (According to my school friends, Niles (Fraiser) like. Or Lammar/J. Cocker) life using the Amiga. Better sad than Brad off Neighbours. So a theif wouldn't get a chance to get into an empty house. Finally, I have extreme difficulty getting AF-CD at a date near its actual release date-I get it about 2 weeks later than that, and that's even though I reserve it! @endnode @node "Mars" "These are Icons!" @next "HOW2" @prev "Whogoesthere?" These are Icons. They are used on GUI's such as the Amiga's Workbench. There are several different types of icon on the Amiga-these are: a)Commodore-They all look the same, that is to say, Putrid. b)MWB-They do not all look the same, but are still Putrid. c)@{"NewIcons" link "Newicons" 0}-They do not all look the same, they work better (No pallete changing JUST to get the icons to look right.), they look nice and are simply far superior to a and b. There have been changes in design to some of the icons found on CD8-I have also put a whole load of new icons on here. @endnode @node "HOW2" "How to design your own icons in my Newiconish style" @next "Joke" @prev "Mars" There is an IFF file in Components\Maps called "Home Grown". This picture contains both Text and Graphics explaining how to make your own AF icons in the same style I have. @endnode @node "Joke" @next "Newicons" @prev "HOW2" Ouch it was an iron bar. @{"To the Pub" link "MAIN" 0} Listen to: Kate "another word for Shrub that begins with "B" and ends with "H"" (Any of her songs) released by a company associated with the things on the stem of a rose. There, said it without getting any sad company execs moaning about ©. AF CD isn't really worth it without the MODS. @endnode @node "Newicons" @next "SPA" @prev "Joke" NewIcons is a reveloutionary Icon system for the Amiga-version 3 can be found on AF CD 5 (Or was it 6?) it is so stupendously brilliant I simply cannot tell you why it is so good because you can only fit 650Mb onto a CD. In order to view my icons without double-clicking on them you have to install NewIcons. @endnode @node SPA @prev "Newicons" The Society of Popular Astronomy is an Astronomy Organisation (Surprise.) that caters for all levels of Astronomical ability-even beginners.
