A while back I uploaded a template and a I thought a CALAMUS.HLP file for anyone to use or edit or.... Well about a month ago I accidently deleted my CALAMUS.HLP file from the SYS folder and was stuck back with the old file from ISD. It didn't matter how many times or how hard I hit the f2 key the font editor wouldn't open up. So I logged on to GEnie and DLed my old file and guess what? I found that I had never included the .HLP file with my UL. So in past few weeks I have been reconstructing and changing my old file to better suit my needs. I am back to speeding along when I am working at Calamus now and found just how much time my custom HLP file really saves me. For those of you who are not quite sure what the HLP file does it assigns messages to Icons and allows the customizing of "hot keys" or Command Keys. This allows one to do things like open the text editor with the press of a key. It short-cuts the amount of click- ing around on the screen. For more info. see page XIX-1 in the Calamus manual. Please feel free to use and change this file and templates. There is one template to fit between the back of the function keys and the case and the other fits well on the right side of the Mega keyboard and is held in place with tape or whatever. Have fun and if you have any questions or if I have forgotten any- thing (like I did last time, I still don't believe no-one told me) send me E-mail to C.Eisenschmi TTFN Ike
