We licensed a special version of G+plus, called G+FLAIR from CodeHead Software to enhance the performance of Wordflair. G+FLAIR is a complete replacement for GDOS. The only difference between G+plus and G+FLAIR is that G+FLAIR does not have the ability to load different ASSIGN files for different programs. Please note that both GDOS and G+FLAIR have been included on the GDOS distribution disk. G+FLAIR.PRG has been named G+FLAIR.PRX. To install G+FLAIR, follow the GDOS installation instructions included in your GDOS Users Guide. When the installation is complete, rename GDOS.PRG to GDOS.PRX or something similar, and rename G+FLAIR.PRX to G+FLAIR.PRG. Changing the suffix from .PRG to .PRX will prevent GDOS from loading. If you're unsure how to copy or rename files, consult your Atari Users Guide. Should you later want to use GDOS instead of G+FLAIR, simply reverse the process, and rename G+FLAIR.PRG to G+FLAIR.PRX, and change GDOS.PRX back to GDOS.PRG. If you already have a boot disk set up with GDOS.PRG in the auto folder, just copy G+FLAIR.PRX to the auto folder, and follow the renaming instructions above. G+FLAIR was written by John Eidsvoog and Charles F. Johnson and is Copyrighted 1988, 1989 CodeHead Software. All rights reserved. GDOS is copyrighted 1987 by Atari Corporation. All rights reserved.
