Hello World

==== Clear Screen Test ====
This test tells me how to clear your screen. If you would
rather have me never clear your screen, you can enter the
letter 'X' to the question below.

Is there still a line on your screen above this that says
'Hello World' (Y,N,X)? x

==== 'Hot Menus' Preference ====

'Hot Menus', means that menu choices will be reacted to immediately
when you press a command selection key (without having to enter a
carriage return afterwards). The main advantages are that this is
much faster than having to wait for the whole menu to be printed out,
and only one keypress is needed to select a command. The main
disadvantage is that if you are prone to 'noisy' phone lines when
accessing this system, spurious characters generated by phone line
static may be interpreted as random command selections.

Do you wish to have the 'Hot Menus' feature used (Y or N)? n

TMONEY.ARC 12544 07/16/89 2 Non-Mac Application Or Document
Desk accessory calculator that converts Tempo, Beats, Seconds in any
direction. Sorry the DOC is in french but it is very intuitive. Great for
commercials or film scoring.

MUSICALC.ARC 58752 07/16/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document
SMPTE calculator. Works only in medium rez.

STMIDIEX.PRG 43648 09/06/89 1 Non-Mac Application Or Document
MIDIEX data file handler for Atari ST/Mega. Can acquire sysex data and
save in MIDIEX format. Works with standard IBM MIDIEX patch file/etc.
files directly. Not for use with Macintosh.

XPATDX4.PRG 24064 09/06/89 2 Non-Mac Application Or Document
My public domain program for Atari ST/Mega that converts Yamaha DX/TX7
patch files from many different sources (IBM, Mac, C64, Apple IIe, 8 and
16-bit Ataris) into any one of 5 different Atari patch file formats
(DX Heaven, several types of GenPatch ST, MIDIEX which is the same as
used by Steinberg/Jones). It uses internal pattern recognition to
determine
the input patch file format so you don't have to know them. I've used it
to convert hundreds of files. Enjoy!

AMI.ARC 20480 09/23/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document
SIMPLE ALGORITHMIC COMPOSER

STMIDIEX.ARC 33920 10/07/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document
STMIDIEX.ARC contains a generic MIDI-EX sysex format librarian program for
the ATARI ST ONLY! This program -- STMIDIEX.PRG -- runs in either medium
rez (color) OR high rez (mono). It sends & receives (via MIDI) sysex
messages and saves to disk. It will handle receiving multiple sysex
messages (up to 6). It will NOT work with Casio or any other device that
requires a "conversation" (ie request-to-send, OK-to-send, or similar
communication between program and devide). I believe Roland also requires
such "conversing". But it should work with devices that can dump to the
program (instead of waiting to receive via MIDI the request to dump.
GEM-based, ATARI ST ONLY, color/mono, must de-ARC to use.

MIDINET.ARC 46976 10/09/89 1 Non-Mac Application Or Document

TX81ZLIB.ARC 84864 02/01/89 1 Non-Mac Application Or Document
Commercial quality editor-librarian for the TX81Z.
Edit voices, banks, even configuration setups .

DX7OMNI.ARC 491136 04/17/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document
170 (yup, 170!) banks of DX-7 voices, in Omni Banker format for the ST.
Omni-Banker has got to be one of the better all-synth librarians out there
today. It's even got support for the E-Mu Proteus (NOT RELEASED YET!).
.
Some of the banks may be duplicated (1 or 2), but definitely worth the
download. These files are from a system called East Coast MIDI, in NY.
.

CZANDFMT.STW 5632 09/08/89 1 Non-Mac Application Or Document
File format used in CZ-ANDROID patch files on the Atari ST/Mega. I cracked
this format awhile back and used it as the basis for a conversion program
that takes CZ-ANDROID files over to CZ-RIDER format on the ST/Mega. It
has been validated with >100 random patch files and seems to hold up.

CZPHONIX.ARC 5632 10/09/89 1 Non-Mac Application Or Document

FOUROPED.ARC 89088 10/14/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document

earlier program TX81LIBR by the same author, John Davis. Also works with
DX21. Public domain.

CZEDITOR.ARC 63488 11/24/89 0 Non-Mac Application Or Document
