VIEW Menu: By Range The "By Range" option allows you to specify a group of numeric information (you enter the lower and upper limits of this group), which the computer will search for in your records. Those records which contain the information you specified will be displayed on your screen, and this group will become the current "selected set". VIEW Menu: By Specification Use "By Specification" to search for records that contain a specific piece of information. This option will look for either numeric or text information. Those records that contain the information you specified will be displayed on your screen, and this group will become the current "selected set". VIEW Menu: Selected Set All Records Choose "Selected Set" to view the group of records found the last time you used either "By Range" or "By Specification". Select "All Records" to see all of the records in the data base. VIEW Menu: Form Style Column Style DATA MANAGER's column-style view appears when you load the program. Your data is arranged in columns. You can move to the form-style view, which displays your data in fields, by selecting "Form Style" or pressing F1. To return to the column-style view, select "Column Style" or press F1 again. VIEW Menu: Calculations Select "Calculations" to modify a formula in a calculation column. You will see the same dialog boxes that you saw when you first added this column using "Create New Column".
