Use the "Abandon" option to erase
any data entered since you last
saved the data base. For example,
if you saved the data base fifteen
minutes ago and then entered more

fifteen minutes' worth of data by
 selecting "Abandon".

 FILE Menu: Create Graph File

Use this option to create a file of
data for drawing graphics. Use the
"Move" and "Hide" items on the
OPTIONS menu to select the columns

Graph File" option to store these
columns in a file on your disk.
Then consult your user's manual for
instructions on using this file in
 the Graphics program.

Use the "Open Report Format" option
to load a previously created format
into the computer from a data disk.

 Select "Save Report Format" to
store a report format on your data
 disk for later use.

 The "Status" option gives you
 information about your data base,
including the number of records and
 columns. This option also allows
you to enter a password to protect
 your data.

Use the "Quit" option to exit the
program and return to GEM. Be sure
that you have saved your data base
 on disk before selecting "Quit".
