Packer takes prg, tos, and ttp files and squeezes them down to about 70% of their original size. These programs are still runnable and take no longer to load than the original programs. Unpack reverses the process. I have found that most programs I have tried can be condensed (Opus, fastext, and some others give an error message and can't be condensed). I have only found two programs which did not perform properly when condensed, pagestream and vip. Both bombed upon loading. Resource files should be left alone. Files in the auto folder can be condensed just fine.
